Fr. Gregory Crane, BRCS School Chaplain
Fr. Gregory Crane, a native of Elk River, Minnesota, was ordained in
June of 2019. He attended the University of St. Thomas and graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Catholic Studies, then moved to Bismarck, North Dakota, to work as the Assistant to the President at the University of Mary for two years. Subsequently, he taught high school religion at St. Mary’s High School for one year before entering seminary for the Diocese of Bismarck.

Fr. Crane attended St. John Paul II Seminary in Washington, DC
for two years, receiving a Pre-Theology Certificate from The Catholic University of America. He was then assigned to undertake theological studies at the Pontifical North American College in Rome, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sacred Theology from the University of St. Thomas
in the City and a Diploma in the Theology of the Liturgy from the University of the Holy Cross.

Upon ordination to the holy priesthood, Bishop David Kagan assigned Fr. Crane as Chaplain of Bishop Ryan Catholic School and Parochial Vicar of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
