PRESCHOOL ARRIVALS
Full-day and morning preschool students should arrive at Bishop Ryan no earlier than 7:45am each school day.
Afternoon preschool students are welcome starting at 11:45am on their school days.
Parents/caregivers are strongly encouraged to walk students to their classroom at arrival time
and pick them up at their classroom door promptly at their dismissal time of 11:00am (morning students) or 3:00pm (afternoon and full-day students).
PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN READINESS DRESS CODE
There is no required dress code for preschool students; however to help with the upkeep of the wood floors in our Gymnasium and Activity Center, all Bishop Ryan students are reminded that “street shoes” are not to be worn during physical education classes inside the school or on the playing surfaces in the gym or activity center. Please have a designated pair of shoes with non-marking soles that are worn only for gym activities.
LITTLE LIONS T-SHIRTS
Once again this year, preschool students are invited to buy a special shirt to show off their Little Lions pride! The shirts are purple short-sleeve t-shirts with a special Lion design, and they come in children’s sizes extra-small through large. T-shirts are $15.00 each, all orders and payments are due by Tuesday, August 23rd, and you can find the order forms to complete and turn in here.
COME CHEER FOR THE BIG LIONS
Little Lions Preschool and Kindergarten Readiness students get into all Bishop Ryan home sporting events free, and all families are invited to come out and help cheer on our Lions! If you are interested in more information on Bishop Ryan Booster ticket pacakges for the 2023-2024 sports season, click here.
*Please note: all K-12 Bishop Ryan Catholic School students receive a free student booster ticket when school starts.

The first day of school for students in our three-day classes is
Friday, August 18th!What to bring on the first day of school:
- all of your school supplies
- your healthy snack
- your money for snack-time milk (open to all preschool students) and/or lunch (full-day students only)
- For 2023-2024, milk is 50 cents each and lunch is $3.10 each.
- any remaining paperwork
- a big Little Lion smile!
