Mrs. Caytee Weigel

Hello families! My name is Mrs. Caytee Weigel, and I am the new third grade teacher at Bishop Ryan! I am so excited to be working my dream job. I love working in a K-12 school with smaller class sizes because there is a great community environment and it is easier to meet the needs of the students. I previously student taught and worked as a para-educator at TGU Granville where I realized my love for a K-12 school. 

I graduated from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with Honors and Spanish concentrations. Prior to that, I grew up in a military home where I moved 11 times in childhood. This has given me many great experiences. I still enjoy traveling, especially with my husband’s job as a Business Analyst for Delta Vacations. However, I am happy to make Minot my home as it is a great community and both my husband’s and my immediate families live locally. We bought our first home this past summer! 

I absolutely love teaching third grade. The 2021-2022 school year is my first year teaching and I constantly have the line “I’m having the best time of my life” stuck in my head. God knew what He was doing when He led me to pursue Elementary Education. All the glory goes to Him!
