Our annual Santa Shop was truly blessed this year, thanks to the hard work of our Parent Ambassadors and the volunteers who brought everything together!
Each year around Thanksgiving, we put out the request for donations of new and gently used items that would make great gift ideas for moms, dads, brothers and sisters. The generosity of our school and parish families and friends fills our library with a collection of treasures and then our preschool and elementary students have the opportunity to pick out the "perfect" gift for the members of their immediate families. Volunteers help with the shopping and wrapping, and each little Lion takes pride in bringing home pretty packages to share for Christmas.
Families also make monetary donations for the "shopping". Each year our elementary faculty choose a local community organization to donate those funds to, and this year's generous donations added up to a $1,500 donation to the St. Leo's Soup Kitchen for the work they do in serving our community. The gift presentation was made just before Christmas break during our last Morning Gathering of 2020.
Thank you to all of our Lion family and friends for modeling the virtue of magnanimity for our students and contributing to this amazing gift!
