The NDHSAA has announced that the fan attendance limit for winter sports events will be determined at 25% of a gymnasium's capacity, up to a set maximum determined by the venue tier.
The Region 6 athletic directors have collectively decided to mark 75% of available tickets for home team fans and the remaining 25% for visiting team fans.
Based on our venue tier, Bishop Ryan will allow 110 home fans and 40 visiting fans to our events. (We are in the lowest capacity tier, allowing a maximum of 150 fans, and schools in the same capacity tier will be doing the same.) Schools within the region with larger-capacity gyms may issue more vouchers for tickets. Schools outside of our region can and may elect to follow more stringent attendance limitations.
For junior high events (both home and within the region), two fans per athlete will be allowed entrance. Limits for any junior high events outside of the region will be at the discretion of the host school. Vouchers will not be issued for junior high events within our region.
Limited concessions will be offered and masks are still required at all events.
