You may have heard the Bishop Ryan Fund mentioned in different places, but maybe you’re wondering about the impact this annual fund has on our school… Let’s shed some light on the topic!
The Bishop Ryan Fund is the backbone of the BRCS Advancement program and it builds the revenues that supplement the school budget to fund school programs and campus projects. This is different and separate from any capital campaigns, corporate partnerships, or memorial gifts given to the school. While our tuition dollars, parish support, and special events certainly play a huge role in helping to meet the needs of our school, the Bishop Ryan Fund helps ensure the strongest academic and educational programming possible. When you think of the Bishop Ryan Fund, think of our needs today, the consistent, ongoing, everyday needs of the school.
As the primary annual method of fundraising for BRCS, the Bishop Ryan Fund helps to support school programs and projects. In many ways, it allows us to ‘move the ball forward’ in every aspect of the school. Here are just a few examples of the projects supported the Bishop Ryan Fund:
• The Music Department and Strings Academy
• Athletics programs
• Need-based Tuition Assistance and Scholarships
• Technology updates
• Buildings and Grounds improvements
• Hiring of additional support staff when needed
• School clubs
Our biggest effort to support this year’s Bishop Ryan Fund is coming up with our Days of Giving, March 21st through the 24th. We have some incredibly generous donors who have come on board, pledging a total of $25,000 to utilize as matching funds during these four days. From March 21st-24th, every dollar you give will earn another dollar for Bishop Ryan!
Please consider supporting the school this year by giving to our Bishop Ryan Fund. A successful Bishop Ryan Fund helps us reach our goal to give our students the highest quality and most rewarding educational experience.
